Risk analysis, in other words risk assessment is conducted to reveal potential threats and risks concretely and to take precautions. Risk assessment, which is accepted as a proactive approach for preventing occupational accidents in the whole world, and especially in developed countries, offers significant benefits to the institutions and organizations when accepted risk assessment methods are followed. Again in developed countries, this assessment is made obligatory by being defined in national legislations and standards. And Turkey ruled risk assessment to be conducted in all enterprises subject to Labor Law as a legal obligation regardless of the number of employees working in that enterprise.
