According to the Veterinarian Services, Crop Health, Food and Feed Law No. 5996 issued on June 13, 2010, all the facilities that operate in production, processing and distribution of food and substances and materials contacting food shall take permit from the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock before commencing operations, and register their work places to this Ministry.
 The facilities without permits and registration documents are not allowed to operate.
